Our favorite memory of Gladys is when we held the Scottish party at our house and tried to do the Scottish dances!
We had such a good time and she was such a good sport! She really looked like she was enjoying herself.
Happy Robbie Burns Day, Gladys! We'll miss you. --The Domenech Family

I will always remember that anytime I had a question regarding the planting or upkeep of plants and flowers, Gladys is who I knew I could count on for the best information. Gladys also always had a vivid memory for placing and remembering people she hadn't seen in several decades. She always had a smile and a kind word. I have missed, and will always miss seeing her on Sunday mornings at Prince of Peace.

My memories of Gladys are nothing but positive ones. Gladys had a way about her that always made me feel comfortable in her presence. She was always so lively and full of happiness. My favorite memory was how she always had her signature Seven and seven at holiday parties. She will be missed dearly Her energy and positivity remain in my heart and I will strive to be like her in my future. Nothing but amazing; I love you, Gladys.

In memory of my friend, Gladys Swanda.
When I first met you, I felt a certain draw to you. You have a gentle, loving soul that makes people love you. You are one of the most inclusive people I have ever met. You always made me feel welcome in your home and i was never in a rush to leave. Please look when i arrive and greet me at the gate. Pray you have met with my mom and have shared our good memories. Always in my heart and prayers, I love you! <3

Aunt Gladys was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. She welcomed us into the family with open arms and had a way of always making you feel good and welcome. Her smile and laugh would light up a room. Aunt Gladys was a great listener and would forever remember what you said and always follow up the next time you saw her. I always loved when she was a part of holidays and other celebrations. Some funny memories always happened at the dinner parties and at the table. I'll always remember her laugh. Another fun time is when we did that 'Still challenge' with everyone and she had a stuffed animal snake around her neck. i'll always cherish her, the memories, and think of her with love. She was an absolutely amazing person who will be missed. Now, she is up in heaven dancing with everyone, shining as bright as she did down here. I know she is looking down on all of us and surrounding us with her love.

Come meet me in the garden Lord is so specific to Gladys and what was important to her in life. When I think of her I see how she treated her family and those she loved like they were her garden. She loved them, tended to them making sure all their needs and wants were met. She never asked for anything in return but took pleasure in their happiness, and their love the same way she took joy in her garden, her roses and how her garden bloomed under her loving care. We are blessed to have had her in our lives.
