I am so sorry to hear about Joe. Being I went to ST. RAPHAEL'S, lived in East Meadow right off of Prospect Ave.-Meadow Dairy down the stretch, and having friends down by Ramona and Nira I would see him and always made me smile. Being that I now reside in Florida I am sending up my blessings and prayers. You are all in my thoughts.

RIP Joey. You were pretty much my second dad growing up, from the fishing trips to coloring and napping at the firehouse, every day that you were a part of was always a fun one. My entire family will miss you dearly and you'll always have a special place in our hearts.

As Joseph’s 3rd. Grade teacher at St. Raphael’s School,I am not at all surprised to read that he was a 9/11First Responder. I remember him fondly as such a caring boy...always wanting to do for others. My sincere condolences to his Mom , siblings, wife and children. May he Rest In Peace...he has truly gained his ANGEL WINGS.
