Charlie you were my oldest friend and I will miss you. We had some good times and you spoke about the girl nexy door, how when you were young the other kids teased you , calling you shovel head.We meet at the diner when you worked ma Weigans in Williston Park and Wed was landscape day, but you said you were not a landscaper but a funeral director, you must have been good because every one else did it buy not you. I admired that about you, and when you said you were going into buisness i knew you would succeed. We kidded about army versus marines, because we were in at the same time. i Thank you for all the years me and my kids got to see the Giants at the stadium, thanks to you generousty. Charlie I bid you adieu with tears in my eyes,
you were the best friend any one could ever have

Charlie was a wonderful man. His Funeral homes have always been very professional . They have been terrific in the way they handle a families experience at a very sad and tough time. He was also so generous to his community. He was an outstanding person. God be with his family!

What an honor to have met Charlie O’Shea. I remember sitting with him in his home in Point Lookout, where he told me a story about a bicycle ride when he was 10 years old, and an aspiration he envisioned at that time. Yes, He achieved it later in life! His story was not only an inspiration, but said so much about what an incredible person he was. I will always remember his deep love and admiration for his incredible wife Gina. May the O’Shea family find peace in their sorrow, knowing that Charlie made his mark on so many.

Charlie and i go back many years playing together on Freeport Avenue in Point Lookout at ages 9-10 with boxing matches in my grandfather's garage and stoop ball in front of the house. Later as teenagers' we were part of a crowd that held summer parties in Point Lookout on a regular basis and played basketball in the then newly built parish gym. He always gave me Giant football tickets each season when no game tickets were available for sale and refused reimbursement. Then when my wife Diane gave birth to a premature baby that lived only a few hours it was Charley and Gina that we turned to for advice and burial. Charley was the most generous person i ever knew and i will miss him greatly but i know there must be great joy in heaven now that Charley has come home.
