Dearest Johanna, I just learned of your beloved father's passing. My heart is broken for you. I remember meeting your dad on numerous occasions & he was always very kind, genial, & funny. You & I have known each other since kindergarten & your family has always treated me with the utmost respect. I can say I was blessed to have known your dad, but your family has the true honor of bearing his name. Your father was a remarkable man who left a positive mark on everyone he met. I am so sorry and so terribly saddened You have just learned of the passing of my dear friend John. I know how much he loved his family and his adopted son was one of the joys of his life. He promised to invite me during the summer to meet him and his whole family and to see him again being he did not attend our 50th High school reunion. I told him I would love to simply take the train out to meet him and his family at any time during the summer. I did not know if his recent passing North did I know he was even ill. He often commented on my Facebook entries in such a nice way And never mentioned anything about any illness. I shall forever miss him. RIP and G-d BLESS. With my deepest and warmest condolences to the entire family.
