Christopher (Barry) Lynch was a long time resident of Levittown Long Island formally of New Rochelle died peacefully at his home on Sunday May 19th. Barry was born in Cork City Ireland to the late John and Helena Healy Lynch. He was the youngest of ten children. Barry came to the U.S. with his family in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany m. He was a long time member of the New Rochelle Irish Benevolent Society, before moving to Long Island for the last forty years. He was a member of the Mid-Island Irish American Club with his long time love Anne Martin who predeceased him in 2007. He is survived by his loving sister Cora Ryan of New Rochelle, his nieces Ann-Marie Paulo and Pauline Ryan of New Rochelle, his nephew Christopher (Lisa) of Dobbs Ferry. He also leaves his grand nieces Kelly Paulo and Makenna Ryan and his grand nephew Nicholas Paulo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Los Angeles Canada England and Ireland. He was predeceased by his only son Christopher who died at one day old along with his Godchild and nephew Johnny Ryan. Barry loved chatting with his neighbors as well as enjoying a good cigar. Spending Christmas holidays and many occasions with Uncle Barry will never be the same. He will be sadly missed.
