My Dad and Dave were friends who rode the LIRR together. My Dad also used to play Santa at some Cooke Christmas parties. I will always remember how much Dave and my Dad would laugh when they were together. I personally spent most of my time knowing Dave during my teenage years. What I always liked about him was he never treated me like a kid. He would talk to me like I was just another guy and he was so easy to talk to. I will never forget that.

Dave was a great man and a mentor to me when I first started in SG. He had an excellent way of cutting through the B.S. which I absolutely LOVED. Anyone who knew him appreciated his candor and kindness. I can honestly say that this world is not as good without him. Rest in peace my friend. Bill
