Jim, my heart aches knowing we are no longer together. While I feel that half my heart is missing, and I agonized over the pain you had to endure while battling this horrible disease, I am grateful that we had so many years together that others found inspiring. I will always love you and will find solace in the fact that we had so many great memories together. The pain of losing you will go in time, but my love never will. I will never forget you calling my name over and over and telling me you loved me with your last breath. You are no longer in pain and that helps me as you had suffered so these last years. I will never forget you and will keep you in my heart until we meet again. Feel free to give me signs you are still thinking of me as you said you would be with me in heart and in spirit....
