Many years ago my mother-in-law, Kathleen Maguire, came home for a visit from Arizona and we went to Disc Lane so she could visit with her good friend Fran. It was the first time I had spent a whole afternoon with her and it was quite a visit. I listened to so many stories starting out how my in laws met Fran and Val. The unique bond they had living on the same block when most women didnt drive and you all helped each other out watching the kids helping fix up each others houses. Then on to the stories of the kids growing up, the moms having to go up to see the nuns at St Francis when one of the kids got in trouble because the men were too afraid of the nuns! She had me hysterical. She certainly lived a long full life surrounded by such a big and loving family. You are all truly blessed to have had this. Remember all the good times. May she rest in peace now she is back with Val and the rest of the Disc Lane crowd!
