I'm so sorry to hear of my Uncle Don's passing. He was very kind and generous. I am so glad that he was able to come to my wedding. I also really enjoyed visiting with him in New York. I am so glad that Uncle Don and Ginny were able to visit me and my mom in Eugene, OR. I have a lot of fond memories. RIP Uncle Don.

Our Uncle Don had a work ethic second to none! While working hard made him successful he was always willing to assist family members in need, especially when it came to education. I was so touch when Uncle Don and Aunt Ginny flew all the way to Memphis, TN for my final arrival in a FedEx aircraft. I will always remember the good times we had with our Uncle from 50 Yale Blvd. to 20 Matthew Street. Thanks Uncle Don for being a wonderful uncle!

I am saddened to learn about the loss of Donny whom I have known since the days of Hillside Grade School. When I was in second grade, I knew how special he was. I have many early childhood memories of Don and our group of friends enjoying each other's company, and, essentially, growing up together. My parents and I always called him Donny O and they teased me because he was my very first crush!
Don became a man of deep ethical beliefs, always honest and sincere with a compassionate depth to him. We have Don to thank for forever tying to keep us together after high school with his planning (along with Maria, Ginny and many of you!!) of all the reunions. He was the one who made sure none of forgot Artie. He wanted all of us to never forget our roots and to reach out to each other even when our lives took us far away into other worlds. We have Don to thank for many of us renewing friendships as well as sharing early memories.
My deepest condolences to Ginny, the most faithful and loving wife who brought years of laughter and fun to our serious Don. When I spoke with Don, he was most concerned about how his illness was going to affect Ginny. So like Don- caring for others first.
Thank you Donny O for showing us how to live a wonderful life! I know that you saw the Light of the Lord in your passing!

It brings tears to my eyes. So many good times in high school with Don and others.
He and Maria kept the reunions going. The miles kept me from many, but one never forgets the class and all the happy memories. He was a true leader with a big smile.
I remember him approaching me on the street many years after graduation in his uniform and glad he announced himself. I wondered what I had done wrong!
My condolences and love to the family

Don was always sincere In everything that he said and did. He talked from the heart. And I really enjoyed talking to him. We were of the same mind on certain issues. He did enormous good as a policeman and a landlord.

Donnie was the most wonderful classmate and friend. We've known each other since High School and for many years afterwards when we reunited for the many reunions that he and another classmate, Maria, created for us. He was generous and kind and we will miss him. My deepest condolences to his family.
