Ken was The Best of the Best!!!! I will miss his laughter, his smile & his kind , loving heart. He Loved his family more than life itself. He was there during the good times & softened the hard times. Ken loved his wife Helen beyond words. Chris & Ryan he was so proud of the men you both have become, & the great husbands & father's too. Kristen & Freshta, you both completed his family. He couldn't have asked for better wives for his sons & daughters he & Helen adored. Kyra, Brady, & Kevin were his heart & soul & reason for living each day with Laughter & Love. He beamed with pride every time he talked about them. I was Lucky to have known Kenny for over 34 years. he enhanced my life. He was the best salesman I've ever worked with.34 years went by in a flash. They say God only takes the best!!! Kenny you were & always will be. I'll remember all of the laughs & fun times. Memories to last a life time. Until we meet again, thank you for gracing my life!!!!! I Love you!!!!!!!!

Mr. Akley had this kindness to him that not many possess. His genuine love for people made him unique in ways I cannot express. He was a jokester, better yet a prankster. His sense of humor was always infectious. His unconditional love for his family was envious.
To many of us, he was a friend. To those of us lucky enough, he was our family. His presence will truly be missed!
My deepest condolences to the Akley’s and to all of those that knew him personally. I will always cherish the whacky conversations we had about spiritual stones, the Yankees and Afghani food.
I’ll see you again one day my friend!

I was just thinking about Ken when the news of his passing was shared with me.
What an amazing, unique person he was! I knew Ken, as many did, through the A.R.E.. At A.R.E. Congresses he was the extraordinary auctioneer, who had us all doubled over with laughter as he made that fund-raising event a fun event that no-one wanted to miss.
But the other side of Ken was serious and deeply spiritual. He helped to start and nurture many A Search For God study groups and did talks on the Bible for the A.R.E. of NY Edgar Cayce Center, where I was working at the time.
Ken will be deeply missed on this earth plane but I know he is being greeted with a joyous angel band on the other side. May God bless him and his continued journey. And may God also bless and heal his family and all who are feeling his loss.

Ken was literally the oldest friend I had on this earth. We were told that we first met each other long ago in Atlantis. Ken was an avid student of metaphysics. He started early in his life by studying the exploits of the clairvoyant Edgar Casey. We met at a seminar held by the cousin of author Drundvlo Melchizedek. I spent hours on the phone with him listening to him explain theories of Quantum Mechanics, the Space Time Continuum, Da Vinci's Theory of the Golden Means, the Fibonacci series of mathematics and other Esoteric information. He jokingly referred to himself as the Discount Guru.
Our most profound experience was discovered when we toured Egypt together with a group of his close associates and visited sacred temples along the Nile. We even went inside the Great Pyramid at the Giza plateau in Cairo. It was a miraculous experience that changed both of our lives. I will always remember him and regard him as my brother and a true friend in this lifetime. I salute him for the steadfast dedication he had for his family in spite of being ‘such a wild and crazy guy’, a saying quoted from Saturday Night Live. May the Infinite Blessings of the Most High God be Upon Him Forever. Charles Leon Roberts

Alan Steel’s Memories of Ken Akley
To my pal and mischief instigator and friend I will miss you and your pranks as well as your laughter. During ARE Congress week we all had great fun together putting on skits and doing auctions. But we still did the Cayce work where ever we were. After all fun is one of the spiritual paths. I’ll never forget the time I was supposed to lip sync a song and you arranged for the sound person to insert barking. So I knew in advance and played along with it. It brought me so much joy to turn the tables back on you. So my friend I’ll see you in the next life time. I’ll be there to greet you with joy, laughter, and love. And to your family I send healing thoughts of love and peace.
Till we meet again,
Alan Steel
