We are stunned and heartbroken to hear of this. Pat was a gentle man, and a gentleman, funny, considerate and kind. We "19thC performers" who often only saw one another at Old Bethpage Village and the Port Jefferson Dickens Festival would never fail to go to Pat's hilarious magic shows, and we insisted on watching them over and over and over. Maybe the jokes were the same in every show, but his delivery was always fresh and we always laughed until our sides hurt . I know I speak for all of us - especially Mary and Larry, Tim, Chris, Tom and the gang who knew him for so many years - that there will forever be an empty spot in our heart now that was once filled with his craziness and antics. Our hearts go out to you.

But if you can try and stop measuring their life in the time that they have had, and measure it instead by the life they fit into those years, you may see that they were a light meant to burn as a bright burst, like an electric flash of colour. A life that would not have been so intoxicating and vibrant had its radiance been eked out across a longer timeline.
RIP Big brother

My deepest condolences to Pat’s mom and dad, his sisters Kathy and Jo-Ann and their husbands Steve and Len, his children, and other family and friends. Pat’s welcoming nature is reflected in all of you! From the day I met Pat in high school, his sense of humor, quick wittedness, and intelligence stood out. And of course his showmanship! I’ve always enjoyed reading through his Facebook posts whether it’s announcing an upcoming show or commenting on a current event. We’ll miss your enjoyment of life!

Hey Skip,my best memory of you will always be our card games! Toward the end of our games, when I always LOST, I would try to lure anybody into high card for $50 bucks & then for a $100 & your poor father would always fall for it & lose to me big time. And at the end of our game you would always show us a card trick that would blow our minds .And I always told you after I lost to you, which was most of the time, your lucky your my cousin! When I get there someday, if they let me out of that HOT place, we will continue our games, & we all will feel NO PAIN. All I can say to you is XXXX you XXXXX (the guys will know). Rest in Peace my cousin. You will always be the BEST DAMN MAGIC MAN and a GREAT CARD PLAYER!!!

My condolences to the family. Pat was such a stand up guy in so many ways. He was one of my closest friends from high school. His sense of humor was legend, but his character and integrity were second to none. After I had moved to the South, he always reached out to me to keep me involved in St. Pius events. It is so hard to believe that he is gone. He was a great man and I will miss him.

A great Man! You always had a funny story or joke and never ceased to impress us with your many talents, especially when you did some really crazy and spooky card tricks. Your Magic is surpassed by no one!! I know the guys will miss you at the card games and I will miss feeding you my crazy concoctions that you always said were great even if you were maybe not telling the whole truth sometimes. LOL!
You will be sorely missed. Look for us when we get there and save us a good seat!

To the man that made me who I am. The man who picked the hair away from my face and wiped my tears in my darkest hours. The man who called out of work to stay home with me on my lowest days. The man who made me laugh when times were hardest. The man who made sure I always had not just what I needed but what I wanted. I love you. I have and always will love you. Rest In Peace, dad. You’re so missed.

My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the Family Darienzo. Skip (Pat) changed my life in so many positive ways. I’ll miss him terribly. He was best man at my wedding (34 years ago), and I still remember his beautiful and hilarious toast at the reception. To his kids: your dad will live forever in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. My love to all of you. Here if you need me.

To the best big brother a girl could ever ask for. I love that you often asked my opinion, despite me being younger. ( and according to you found on the doorstep)
I love that you could always make me laugh.
I love that you always supported me and came to watch me play basketball and softball, from my SH days through my days at Molloy. I love that you loved life and lived it on your own terms. I love you. Rest In Peace until we meet again.
