I remember meeting Nancy our freshman year at CA. She had attended St. Mary’s School until 9th grade and we were in homeroom together. Even in the early 70s, Nancy was all about a healthy lifestyle and had an appreciation for peace and solitude. To achieve those things, she usually walked to school from her family’s home on West Lake Rd. Nancy would arrive at school, pink cheeked, smile shining on her face surrounded by those beautiful curls, and always late:). It never phased her that the school day had gotten underway without her. She was the perfect homecoming queen. Bless Nancy’s spirit and all of her family in these days to come.
