Bruce stood a giant amongst men and for the past 8 years I have had the pleasure to work alongside him. I will miss those snazzy ties, his quick wit, a catchy ditty, and "Good Morning 210". Aviation was in his blood, his mind a steel trap. One conversation with Bruce left you enriched in things inside and outside of the world of aviation. He possessed a giant heart and a sincere interest in people. Brucie didn't forget a birthday, he'd keep you feed, and made a cold, hectic office feel a little like home. His devotion to his family was unfailing and when he spoke of them his eyes always would light up, followed by his signature smile. You all are in my prayers. We are a better organization and I am a better man because of Bruce Honig. His mission accomplished, Bruce Honig's 747 has blocked into heaven to a water cannon salute. Rest in Peace Cousin Brucie.

I worked with Bruce since 2004 and I must say he was an amazing man and dear friend. Bruce always had a quick and funny reply to my greetings and I clearly remember the day he call me to his desk and gifted me with a Caribbean Airlines aircraft model, I could not stop kissing him with gratitude. Bruce was one of the kindest and most loving gentleman I had the pleasure of meeting and he will be greatly missed.
Bruce will live on in the kindness he shared and the love and joy he brought to us all. We love you Brucey!!!!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Bruce. I have been with Atlas / Polar for 18 years now working out of Anchorage, Alaska. But before that, I had encountered Bruce over the phone when I was a ground handler for another company on a TDY to Atlanta and handling Atlas flights. In one of thousands of phone calls, all I had to tell Bruce was it's Norm and he knew exactly who he had on the other end of the wire.
Over the years, and there have been a lot of them, Bruce along with a core group of Atlas controllers have been my go to people when ever there was a problem. He could be a bit cranky at times, but I always knew where I stood with Bruce, I always knew I was going to get the right answer and always knew we were on the same team. I liked and respected Bruce immensely. I will miss him. Another pillar of Atlas has come home.
Please accept my best regards and best wishes for Bruce and his family. I will miss talking to him, and even passing a few jokes. He was one of the good ones. I'll never forget him!
Cheers, Norm Odsather

Bruce has such a warm and open heart. From what he shared with me about his life, work aside, I easily was able to see how he obtained the title “Uncle Bruce” from co-workers. It was obvious that he lived vicariously through his nieces and nephews and their children. He loved spending time with his family from how much he loved talking about time spent with them. He rejoiced in my stories of my children and loved hearing about my growing family.
For Bruce’s family, know that many will be thinking of you, sending prayers, and sending healing vibes to you at this time of loss. Bruce’s influence stretched far; heck probably globally.
For Bruce’s co-workers and customers, know too that your loss is felt and I’ll be praying and thinking of you all as well during this time.
Healing and positivity,
Jennifer from Dreamlifter

Dear Bruce
You were always kind to me and my family. You treated everyone in Pan Am with such kindness to the point that you gave without regard to yourself. We know that God has a special place for you in Heaven, flying those big beautiful birds with the Pan Am symbols on them since you enjoy working for the company. We will always have you in our prayers forever. Love Marie
