BEALE, Helen (nee Beringer) long time resident of East Meadow on July 4, 2018, at the age of 91. Cherished wife of the late Jack. Loving mother of Ron (Barbara) and Rick (Lynne). Devoted grandmother of Christian, Michael, Colin, Tyler and Cameron. Helen grew up in Brooklyn and Lake Erskine, New Jersey. A 1948 Bucknell University graduate, she worked in public relations in NYC and LI. An avid traveler, other interests were ballroom dancing, Jeopardy, PBS, reading, and her long love of pet cats. Family will receive friends Sunday July 8, 2018, 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home, 2515 North Jerusalem Rd., (Exit 25N SS PKWY) East Meadow, NY. Funeral Monday, 9:30 am – 10:00 am, with an interment to follow at St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Plainview, NY.
