Obituary
Ethel M. Meyers (nee Thurston) 93, formerly of Long Island, NY passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 in West Chester, OH. She is the beloved wife of the late Charles 'Charlie' Meyers, devoted mother of Diane (Robert) Lambert and Charles (Mary) Meyers, loving grandmother of Tracey (Brad) Warm and great-grandmother of Lexi, Ryan, Sam and Ben.
Ethel loved her family. She was an avid reader and a member of three book clubs at the same time. She enjoyed watching movies, going out to lunch, watching the Islanders Hockey games and being always stylish and fashionable. She lived in Levittown, NY (a planned neighborhood after the war) for over 66 years. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society.
Family will receive friends Sunday, 2-4 pm, at the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home, 603 Wantagh Avenue (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY. Funeral Monday, 9:30 am - 10:00 am, with an interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
