Janet was one of my favorite people to work with and was also my banking mentor. She taught me a great deal about dealing with people as well as supervising them. She could be tough and also very loving. She was a great storyteller , as well as a great singer. She had a good sense of humor that I truly appreciated. She loved her puzzles which she did daily. We shared a love of classic movies. She crocheted a blanket for me which I still have and cherish. She was the glue for our branch and held us together after that horrible take-over robbery in Glen Cove. She was knowledgeable on so many things, including nursing and other medical things. She was very proud of her son, Bryan, and all of his accomplishments and spoke of him daily. I have worked for a number of banks, and always look back on those days when I worked with Janet with fond memories. I hold the memories of her in my heart. Condolences to the family.
