Judy and Carolyn,
I still have fond memories of your dad fixing his car and my dad asking him for help with our cars. I can still hear him laugh when he came over to our house to play cards with all the other fathers from the block.
I would ask him how the brakes stopped a car and he gave me the scientific principle that it worked from first, then tell me how the mechanics worked. I believe this led me to love science and then attempt to fix things on my cars.
Ladies he was a good man and gave of himself to others. He will live on with all the members of North Monroe Avenue. Rest in Peace Bill, you deserve it.
