We were kids when we met. In all those years, I never heard Richie say an unkind word about anyone. He was always ready with a smile and a helping hand. And loved to laugh and have fun. He taught my daughter how to tie her shoes and play basketball. Kids loved him. Sincere condolences to Carol, Brian, Mary, Jo, Loretta, Loretta, Tommy and Kevin. A good soul left the earth, making heaven a brighter place. <3

I knew this was the Richie Kenny from Euclid Avenue because the picture on this site looked just like his Dad, minus the pipe. It’s been 58 years since we last saw each other though I have fond memories of the Kenny clan across the street from us. Richie, younger and smaller, was forever in the middle of all the action. Playing stick ball in the street, punch ball at the corner of Weldon/Euclid, building scooters out of milk crates and old skates and sledding on the hill(seemed like a mountain then). Richie was tough, competive and always had a smile. He is remembered. Mickey Schnaars
