I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with you, And then I realized .... you spent the rest of your life with me. I smile because I know you loved me till the day you went away, And will keep loving me ...till the day we're together again. Rest easy babe, the pain is gone and your at peace. You never complained "why me", you fought every day since we found out, never questioned treatment, you tried everything the doctors recommended, and thought it was going to be okay. You showed us how to go thru life and death with dignity. I kept my promise and when your time was up, you past away at home in peace with me by your side. i will love you forever and a day.

Daddy, it’s been 2 days without you. These have been the hardest days of our lives. We miss you so much and love you more than that. I know your watching us from heaven and protecting us. You were my rock and without you I am lost. JanaLynn will know her pawpaw John through the pictures and memories we had made. She loves you so much. I am thankful you died peacefully and not in pain.
