I worked with Eddie and was able to get to know him on a personal level as well. We would always ask each other Baseball trivia. I was heartbroken to hear this sad news upon returning from vacation.

Eddie truly had a heart of gold! He was not only my direct manager at JPM; he was a friend, adviser and someone who went above and beyond to help me achieve my goals. Eddie never pretended to care, he genuinely cared and stood for what was right! I am just thankful for having the chance to have known him and will miss him dearly. God Bless him and his family!

The Steffens family should take great pride in knowing that Eddie represented them well. He was always thoughtful and kind. He showed willingness to help others and was not too busy to take an interest in the person he was speaking with. I worked with Eddie at JP Morgan the past few years. He was a true gentleman, never raised his voice and never said anything derogatory to anyone.
I always enjoyed talking to and interacting with him. He will be solely missed by all.
