I was recently trying to contact Joe to see how he was doing. I am shocked to learn of his passing.Joe was a great guy. I knew him and Carol back in the mid 70’s when I moved from NJ to California. Joe took me under his wing while I was on the west coast. He hooked him up with his ex roommate Dennis Hansen who became my roommate. My family and I hooked up with Joe again in 2008 when we visited SanFrancisco and Joe and I were working as Contractors for the FBI. He was great to my family and drove us around town to all the must see spots as only Joe could do. We were hoping that he would someday visit us in New England so that I good repay him for his friendship and generosity. Knowing that I will never see Joe again makes me very sad as he always had a great smile and laugh. I will miss him. John Goglia, Judy and family.

I only recently learned of Joe's passing. I am deeply saddened by this news. Joe was an extraordinary man. I loved to listen to his stories about his family. My world has gotten much smaller with him gone.

Joe was truly like a brother to us both. "MI casa e su casa" was not an empty phrase from Joe; thus, we shared many joyous hours cooking, eating but mostly laughing together. We'll miss you, Joe. Our deepest sympathy to the family you loved so well. They were blessed, as were we, to have you in their lives.
