On Saturday night, we learned about your Mom. We are so sorry and are sending hugs your way. I have always remembered sitting at the dining room table with a crew of "us girls" with your Mom sitting at the head of the table usually dressed in her nurses uniform. She always took the time to engage in conversation with us but really to also to listen. Your Mom was a sweet person and definitely had the "Irish " in her. It's certain that family was important to her. I'll add here there's no doubt she loved red hair. As it turns out we've got a handsome 6' 3" red headed son! As THAT last line says....May God hold you in the palm of His hand. This is where she is! I have such special memories of my "Favorite Aunt". Aunt Dot was the best, I love her so much & my love for her will never stop!! I am at such a loss without her. I am selfish, I don't want her to go , I know she has fought the fight for many years. The strength and the courage over the years has been incredible. I'm thinking it is a Cooney thing. No one gives up without a fight in our family! Bill, Ann & Dot showed us their will to live. Pushing on each day,month & year to get to the next goal. Sometimes your just can't reach your next goal. We love them all & will never forget their sacrifices for our family.
