Our Love & prayers are and have been with Karen and her family during this very difficult time. We were very blessed to have known her for so many years and cherish the many wonderful times we shared with her.
Thank you Karen for your friendship, Love, and genuine concern for us and our family during our times of pain. You were truly an angel on earth and now an angel in our Lord's kingdom.
The Westbury girls' dinners will never be the same without you, but the monthly tradition will continue in your honor.

We are so very sorry for your loss. My husband and I never personally met Karen. We know Karen through my sister Linda Pisano who has been friends with Karen since the boys were very little. Although Karen herself was very ill, she supported and always asked how our 3 year old granddaughter Lauren was doing. Lauren was diagnosed with ALL leukemia when she was 2-1/2 years old last April 29, 2015. Linda said there wasn't a time when they spoke that Karen didn't immediately ask about Lauren. I will be eternally grateful knowing that Karen carries a piece of Lauren's journey in heaven with her and that Lauren has another guardian angel watching over her. May Karen rest in peace. Praying for you all.

My heart goes out to all of Karen's family. She will be greatly missed. Karen was probably the most positive person I know. She never complained, never seemed angry, never was in a bad mood, even as she went through all the terrible procedures during these past few months. She was a gem of a person and I'm so sad she is gone. She'll always be in my heart!
