Mrs. Beni was born June 25, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Alfred and the late Grace (Cardinale) DeMatteo. Beloved wife of the late John. Devoted mother of Frances McGowan (James) and Parul (Bonnie). Proud grandmother of Joseph, Brian, Ryan, and Kevin. Dear sister of the Late Thomas DeMatteo. Visitation hours will be Tuesday, January 19 from 7 - 9 pm and Wednesday, January 20 from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9 pm at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes, 2515 N. Jerusalem Rd., East Meadow, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at St. Raphael RC Church, 600 Newbridge Road, East Meadow, NY with interment to follow in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
