Mrs. Muniz was born March 16, 1934 in Havana, Cuba She is the daughter of the late Jose and the late Leonor (Alvarez) Fiallo. She was employed by Mt. Sinai Hospital, NYC, NY as a Clerk. Beloved wife of Luis. Devoted mother of Hortensia Lopez (Ismael) and Maria Martinez (Marcelino). Proud grandmother of Vivian, Robert, Carlos, Marilyn, and Jaclyn Loving great grandmother of Julia, Louis, and Cody. Visitation hours will be Tuesday, January 19 from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9 pm at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes, Inc., 603 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to celebrate her life will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at St. Frances De Chantal Church, 1309 Wantagh Avenue, Wantagh, NY with interment to follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale.
