William Ruggiero, Sr. passed away on December 31, 2015 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Joan Hope. Loving father of William Ruggiero, Jr., Christine Annarumma (Ronald), Robert Jones (Rosann), Richard Jones (Penny), Brendalee Jones, and the late Deborah DeRosa. Cherished grandfather of Anthony, Angelo, Alex, Ariana, Kelly, Brian, Kevin, Judith, Richard, and great-grandfather of Addison and Kenzi. Adored brother of Marie, the late Thomas (the late Gloria), and the late Alfred (the late Bobette). Dedicated Ex-Captain and Honorary Chief of the North Bellmore Fire Department Engine and Rescue Company 2, member for almost sixty years. Proud member of the Rinky Dinks Fireman Drill Team. Family will receive friends Sunday and Monday, 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Home: 2515 N. Jerusalem Rd. (Exit 25N SS PKWY) East Meadow, NY. Religious Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
