Mrs. Valenson was born March 20, 1930 in NYC, NY. She is the daughter of the late Gaston and the late Katherine (Sorrtino) Rafanelli. She married Edward F. Valenson. She is survived by her husband: Edward F. Valenson ; Son & Daughter In Law, Edward (Carol) Valenson; Son & Daughter In Law, Joseph (Debra) Valenson and Grand Daughter Megan. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, December 29 from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9pm and Wednesday, December 30 from 2 - 5 & 7 - 9pm at Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Homes, 2515 N. Jerusalem Rd., East Meadow, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate her life will be held 10:00 am on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Cure Of Ars Church, 2323 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY on Thursday, December 31 at 11:45 am.
