Obituary of Fred J. Oesterle
Oesterle, Fred J. of Wantagh, age 89, beloved husband of the late Joan, passed away peacefully in his home on December 18, 2015; standing as a pillar for his family in his faith. Fred was a proud WWII veteran serving in the US Army Air Corps. Blessed is every individual that shares a memory with Fred and felt the comfort of his presence, from his children, Karen Modafferi, Debbie Schook, Raymond Oesterle, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a foundation has been set that will never falter. R.I.P; it is our turn to make you proud.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home, 603 Wantagh Ave. (Exit 28N SSPKWY) Wantagh. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, 9:45 am.
