It was my pleasure growing up with, and watching you grow into a man. Rich may you and your family be at peace at this most horrible of times. I choose to remember all the good times, basketball games till 11pm outside the house, our wiffle/tennis ball games. We had so much fun. I'm glad I got to know the man you became, Sgt. Richard Ross, you've made me as proud as a brother could possibly be. You'll always be with me. You presence will be sorely missed. Though I'm only a few miles away, I can't make it to say my good byes, I had surgery on my back, and if I can move heaven and earth I will be there for you and your family. I will miss you !!!!!

Rich and I served together in tough times in the US Army and he was often a positive, fun loving guy even in the face of adversity. He will be sorely missed and I will never forget getting to visit with him in NYC after he got out. The world is changed without his fun loving soul but Heaven will rejoyce in his presence. May he rest in Peace.
