Anna Buczak Sabia, 98, of North Bellmore died September 19, 2015, in Long Island, N.Y. Born in East Meadow, N.Y., she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and dearest friend to many. She was an avid gardener, pianist, violinist and artist, a charter member of the East Meadow Republican Club and past President of the North Bellmore Fire Department ladies auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Sabia, who died April 21, 2000; her brothers, Michael Buczak, Steven Buczak and Joseph Buczak; her sister Helen Buczak King. Survivors include her son, Daniel Sabia; two daughters, Carol Ann Hauser and Diane Bourque; two sisters, Betty Buczak Kirby, Irene Buczak Thompson; five grandchildren, Jon Pedicino, Adam Pedicino, William Hauser, Jessica Sabia, Amanda Sabia and five great-grandchildren.
