Mr. Sal Sorrentino, founder and CEO of Matteo's Restaurants, passed away peacefully in his home on September 15, 2015. Affectionately addressed as "Mr. Sal" for the past 25 years, Sal will forever remain in the hearts of his extended family and thousands of his customers. For those of us who had the privilege to meet and witness Mr. Sal's charm, grace, humor, and sarcasm, this is truly a sad and most memorable day. Mr. Sal was surrounded with love from his family and friends until he passed peacefully at his home. Mr. Sal was a mentor to many, a friend to all, and will be forever missed.
