Obituary

Jean Del Villar (nee Castro), a 52 year resident of Levittown, NY passed away on January 29th, 2021. She was 88 Years old. Jean was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised by her mother Zoraida Marie and grandfather Miguel Clavero. Her Grandfather introduced her to classical ballet and Spanish Flamenco dancing where she flourished. At the young age of 18 Jean was traveling the country and world to perform with her dance partner and husband Rodolfo Del Villar, including various dates at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC. Jean retired from dancing after having her 2 son’s, Michael and Frank but continued to teach ballet and flamenco dance from her home studio. Jean worked in NYC in the garment industry and retired from American Airlines. She enjoyed traveling, reading, seeing shows and spending time with close family and friends. Jean is survived by her son Frank Del Villar and his wife Kimberly of Shirley, NY, her two grandchildren, Frank and Ariarna, her sister Marie, her brother John and many nieces and nephews; Christina, Anthony, Christopher, Michael, Thomas, George, Luci, Jeanne, John-Michael and many others who will always lovingly remember her. She was always known for her captivating smile and positive attitude on life. God Bless Mom, Grandma / Nana Jean, and Aunt Jeannie! Funeral services will be held at Charles J.
