Marie Jameson, a longtime resident of Wantagh, NY, died peacefully on June 9, 2025. Marie is predeceased by her husband Stanley. She is survived by her children, Allison Davis and Matthew Jameson, grandchildren Josephine Faix (Chris), James Phillips (Meredith), and Christina Quintana (Travis), and five great grandchildren. Marie enjoyed many activities at different times during her life, including painting, needlework, and other arts and crafts. The family has fond memories of her cooking: cream puffs, cheesecakes, and her famous made-from-scratch Sicilian pizza. And the NY Mets could count her as one their biggest fans. Friends and family may attend visitations on Thursday, June 12 at 2 pm and 7 pm, at O’Shea Funeral Home, 603 Wantagh Ave. A 9:15 am funeral mass will be held Friday June 13 at St. James Church, 80 Hicksville Road, Seaford. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to either St. Jude’s Children Hospital (a favorite charity of Marie’s) or to a charity of your choice.
