Bode-George Martin, of Hicksville, NY, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Karen. Devoted father to the late Pamela Bode, Sharon Rotondo (Anthony) and Michael Martin (Fiorella). Cherished grandfather to Alyssa, Brianna, Michaela, and Julian. He is predeceased by his dear sister, Lillian Shifflett. George was a proud United States Air Force veteran who served his country with honor. He had a gift for telling a good story, his tales could make you laugh, think, and feel like you were part of the adventure. People were naturally drawn to his warmth, charm, and authenticity. He loved classic cars, found peace in fishing, and had a true passion for working with his hands. Whether he was fixing something, building something, or simply sharing a cold drink, George did everything with heart. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored beyond words. He never missed a chance to be around friends and family to share a smile, lend a hand, or raise a glass. If you're reading this, chances are you had a good conversation accompanied by a good drink with George. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
