Michael A. Dalmeto passed away on May 10, 2025 at the milestone age of 100! We celebrate the amazing life of our father and smile knowing that he’s now reunited with our mom, Connie, in heaven. Now they can continue dancing the Lindy as if they never missed a step. He proudly defended his country in World War II as a aerial gunner on a B-24 Liberator, over 35 missions. Mike raised his family in Brooklyn and moved to N. Bellmore in 1982. He was a dedicated family man with a wonderful sense of humor. He worked many jobs to support his family but none he was more proud of then the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authorithy. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and we will hold him in our hearts forever. Beloved husband of the late Connie. Devoted father of Laura Wise (Raymond), Janet Chiafari (Joseph), and Michael D. (Marietta). Cherished grandfather of Michael, Matthew (Gina), and Kristin Stec (Jonathan). Proud great grandfather of Giuliana. Adored brother of the late Anna Lomino. Loved by many extended family and friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday, 4 pm – 8 pm, at the Charles J. O’Shea Funeral Homes 603 Wantagh Ave (Exit 28N SS PKWY) Wantagh, NY 11793. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 11:15 am, at St. Raphael R.C. Church in East Meadow, NY.
