Marianne Lorraine VanDenburg, aged 85, passed away on February 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and love. She enriched the lives of all who knew her. Beloved wife of the late Roy. Devoted mother of Roy (Gina), and Toni Nitschke (Rick). Cherished grandmother of Cody (Fiance Alyssa), Ross (Lauren), Jake (girlfriend Alexa) VanDenburg, and Sam Nitschke. Loving daughter to the late Anthony and Caroline Perchiro. Adored sister of the late Mike, his wife Nancy, and aunt to their children. Her nurturing spirit and gentle wisdom will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. Throughout her life, Marianne was known for her generosity and the strength of her character. She dedicated herself to caring for those around her, and her compassion was a guiding light to many. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, 4 pm - 8 pm, at Albrecht, Bruno & O’Shea Funeral Home, 62 Carlton Ave, East Islip, NY. A Religious Service will be held on Thursday, 9:30 am, at Trinity Lutheran Church. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Calverton National Cemetery, forever together in eternal peace.
