Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, grandma, great grandma, loving sister, aunt, Antonine Duvivier-Déjoie on December 29, 2021, at the beautiful age of 91. She leaves behind her children Carl Luis Alix Déjoie, Jessie Déjoie, Guilda Déjoie, Carl Andre Déjoie (Clélie Cauvin Déjoie), Yves-Leo Déjoie (Terri Déjoie), her grandchildren: Valerie (David Boire-Schwab), Stephane (Rebecca Foucauld), Francis (Vincent Ponette), Chloé (Geoff Konopka) Peter (Thanya Jimenez), Rico, Natalie, Maxim, Rebecca (Mike Enterlin), her great- grand kids; Charlotte, Lea, Adrian, Louis, Xavier. She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters: Jean-Claude Duvivier (Claudette Duvivier), Reynold Duvivier (Yanick Duvivier), Fritz Duvivier ( Mijo Duvivier), Marie-Jose Duvivier, Jeannette Voight, Bernadette Duvivier and Renelle Duvivier. She will also be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Antonine will be remembered as a smart businesswoman, proud mom, grandma and more importantly a devoted Christian who spent her time spreading the word of God and praying for those in need of guidance and healing. To quote Stephane, “ Un Ange est arrivé au Ciel aujourd’hui et veille sur nous!” (An Angel came to Heaven today and watches over us!) Special thank you to Catherine (Popo), Christine and Viviane for being her faithful companion and care takers in the past years. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Antonine’s life at the Charles J O’Shea Funeral Homes in Wantagh NY on Tuesday January 11, 2022, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home and to her final resting place at the Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, Farmingdale, NY at 12:00 PM.
