Gestures
Dear Cilla & Fitch families,
The children of PS 41 have noticed and missed Ms. Cilla this past year. Always wondering when she will be back. She made a great impact on the children and inspired them to create and grow. She was supportive to my son attend art classes outside of school and expressed she would love to attend one of his art exhibit's. Roman will miss her as she always praised and inspired him to do his best.
God bless her family and children as the families at PS 41 are grieving with your loss.
On behalf of both Hunter and Chase please accept our deepest sympathies during this most difficult time. Ms. Cilla brought expression and an appreciation of beauty that has lasted to this day for both of my boys. We are grateful to have known her.
Cilla-fitch family,
Mrs. Cilla was Abigail’s art teacher at ps41.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you. Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow.

We were all blessed to have had Mrs. Cilla in our lives. She brought passion and creativity to the children that she taught, which lives on forever. Praying that God gives you strength to get through this unimaginable tragedy.
Ms Cilla,
You inspired and gave our girls the love of art. Your passion showed as an artist and as a teacher. We are blessed to have had you as a part of our lives. Our prayers and love are with you and your family. Rest in peace.
I will always remember when my son, a kindergartner at the time, brought home his first piece of artwork. It was a beautiful and interesting abstract piece. I was very impressed, and told him so. When I asked what it was supposed to be, he said, "Mom, it's a Kandinsky, don't you know?!" I was floored. Ms. Cilla not only taught my son, she taught me, too, because I quickly had to research the artist just so I could keep up with what my child was learning!
She got my child to do wondrous things and tapped into his imagination in a way that no one has ever done AND she taught a kindergartner (and his mom) about Kandinsky. I will always cherish that memory. I'm so thankful for the amazing talent she shared with my family.
Michelle, I am so grateful for the three years I got to work with you at Ps41, I always looked forward to our weekly art sessions in 4-213. Art in 41 will never be the same.. I love you Michelle! ♡♡
I love you Michelle... You are always in my heart as my perfect smiling friend!! You are my ideal of body, mind and spirit. I'm honor to have you in my life and will love you forever. You are my Angel now.
My dearest Michelle, I enjoyed our year out in the portables. You would always come over to get hershey kisses and even when you would say no more I would take you over some in exchange for a cup of coffee. You'll be missed, i Love you.
