Whether a loved one has passed away or you have questions regarding funeral arrangements, know that we are here for you twenty-four hours a day, everyday. The staff is in the building from 8:30 in the morning to 10:00 o’clock at night, and our directors are always on call after hours to respond immediately.
Has somebody passed away?
If someone has passed away, call us immediately and let us guide you through the process of transferring your loved one into our care and setting up an appointment to discuss funeral arrangements.
Burial or Cremation? A one day wake or a two day wake? These are questions you want to discuss if you haven’t already. Let our funeral directors provide information so you can make informed decisions.
Basic information is required to fill out the death certificate. We will need:
- Date of Birth
- Place of Birth (city and state)
- Social Security Number
- Level of Education
- Occupation, Industry, and an employer.
- Legal Address
- Fathers’ Name
- Mothers’ Maiden name.
- Cemetery Information and deed.
- Is he or she a Veteran? If so please provide discharge papers. The DD-214 form provides the most complete military service information.
Choosing the right clothing for your loved one to wear can be a difficult decision that can be made easier if you follow some simple guidelines. We recommend that you choose something conservative, clothing with long sleeves and a high neckline, nothing sheer or see-through. If you are concerned about an outfit you are considering, give us a call or bring it in so we can provide the best advice.
A picture is worth a thousand words. No matter how well someone explains make up and hairdressing, there is no substitution for a memorable photograph of your loved one. Choose a picture we can accurately reference for hair and makeup.
Whether you would like us to submit an obituary for publication such as in Newsday, or are content with an obituary on our web site, any family information or services your loved participated in would help us better personalize the loving tribute.
